Settlement for woman attacked by dog

The Law Office of Jared A. Rose arrived at a $40,000 settlement with the owner of a dog that had attacked a young woman, severing tendons in her hand and causing injuries that required surgery and physical therapy. Under Missouri law, a dog owner can be held strictly liable if their dog bites someone without provocation. After filing a lawsuit and going through depositions and mediation, the parties in this case were able to arrive at a settlement. A copy of the Petition can be found here.
