The Missouri Tort Victims’ Compensation Fund exists to help compensate accident victims who are unable to get full compensation for their injuries because the person who hurt did not have enough insurance (or had no insurance at all). It provides compensation if there is not enough insurance money to fully compensate victims.

The Fund was established in 1987. Victims may be entitled to up to $300,000 in compensation, on top of the compensation they received from the insurance company in a settlement. But many victims and their lawyers do not submit claims to the Fund.

If you settled a case against a wrongdoer for all the insurance money that was available, but the insurance money was not enough to fully compensate you for your loss, then you may be entitled to more compensation after everything you’ve gone through.

If no one is helping you to pursue this type of claim, Jared would be happy to talk to you about it, and the initial consultation is always free. He can be reached at 816-221-4335 or via email at [email protected].
